This week, meet Claire Cappelle, Product Quality Engineer, and learn about her career path.

What is your role at JPAC?
I am a Product Quality Engineer.
What does a Product Quality Engineer do?
My job primarily involves tasks directly related to quality: product listings, handling complaints and non-conformities, and responding to customer quality requests.
I also prepare samples to send to clients, conduct weekly regulatory monitoring, and regularly update supplier and product files.
What qualities are required for your position?
For my role, you need to be rigorous and organized, but also adaptable.
Can you tell us about your career path?
I started working in health prevention and promotion, then moved into laboratory research. I joined JPAC in September 2022 as a Quality Assistant, and became a Quality Engineer in March 2023.
Why did you decide to go into the food industry?
I’ve always been drawn to food and nutrition. In my final year of high school, I discovered the profession of food industry engineering and its many possibilities, so I tailored my studies accordingly.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My day mainly revolves around the flow of tasks like product listings, complaints, or various customer requests.
What motivates you in your work? What drives you?
The dynamic nature of the company means there’s always something new to learn, and also the presence of my colleagues.
Do you have any anecdotes to share about your job?
My colleagues voted me “Queen Joke” of the team!
Why did you choose to work at JPAC?
The company spirit and the kind team led me to choose JPAC.
What’s your favorite JPAC product?
The gondola-shaped mozzarella and tomato pizza.
What’s your ideal meal?
As a starter, a tomato salad. For the main course, al dente pasta with pesto sauce and parmesan. And for dessert, a slice of apple pie!
