This week, we introduce you to Qingshi Wang, ADV/ADA Administrator and Purchasing Assistant.

What is your role at JPAC?
I am an ADV/ADA Administrator and Purchasing Assistant at JPAC.
What does an ADV/ADA Administrator and Purchasing Assistant do?
I handle the processing and tracking of orders, invoicing, management of client and supplier inventories, and communication with clients and suppliers. I also manage purchasing prices and negotiate with suppliers.
What qualities are required for your position?
The key qualities for my role are thoroughness, organization, priority management, responsiveness, interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation.
Can you tell us about your professional background?
JPAC is my first permanent job since completing my Master’s degree in International Business Management. Before that, I gained one year of experience at a real estate agency and completed a six-month internship at Fnac Darty in the e-commerce field.
Why did you decide to enter the agri-food industry?
I really enjoy discovering new flavors and tasting different foods. Food is an essential part of our daily lives—both necessary and very personal. Working in the food industry allows me to deepen my knowledge in this field and feel truly involved, as it directly impacts our lifestyle and well-being.
What is a typical day like for you?
I start my day by checking my emails and responding to various client inquiries about orders. Then, I handle order entry and delivery tracking.
I also process supplier invoices and issue client invoices. When needed, I fill out forms to create new client accounts.
At the same time, I check stock levels for certain products and initiate production if necessary. I monitor client orders and follow up to avoid any stock shortages.
Finally, I create and update spreadsheets to optimize my work and facilitate activity tracking.
What motivates you in your work? What drives you?
What motivates me is being able to help our clients and find solutions to their problems. I also enjoy working independently while having the opportunity to take initiative and continuously improve our processes.
Do you have any anecdotes to share about your work?
We have some plants in the office, and Nathalie always takes great care of them. One day, she even accidentally watered a fake plant!
Why did you choose to work at JPAC?
Before joining JPAC, I had no experience in the agri-food sector, and this company gave me the opportunity to explore it. We are a small, growing company, and I want to be part of that growth and actively contribute to it.
